Gifts from Mother nature include organic oranges and lemons from the grove adjoining the villa and the occasional offering of the owner of fresh eggs from his chickens, kept in a small run, hidden away amongst prickly pear trees to the side of the entrance gate. An 8km drive takes you to the beautiful, dune-backed beaches of Son Serra de Marina or for those who like a little more action,the livelier beaches of Ca'n Picafort. Cana Joana is well placed for exploring the island and an ideal location for visiting a market in the morning (Sineu, the oldest and largest on the island is just a 15 mins drive away), the beach in the afternoon and the bright lights of Ca’n Picafort in the evening.
